Bridging the Two-Year Gap

Wokayyyyy....

So I suddenly came across this dusty blog that has been left untouched for a little over 2 years...

Oops.

Well, I suppose if it's here, then might as well post something.

It's time for some spring cleaning, and that goes for this blog as well.

Not sure if I have that many things to blog about, though, but I'll  think of something. :D

Gotta brush up a little on my blogging skills and ideas.

Oh yeah.

In the midst of all this chaos

One tends to lose oneself...

It's a matter of finding yourself back

With those little random things

That remind us of who we are,

And who we are meant to be.

In the midst of all this chaos

Find peace and serenity.

Take a step back

And find yourself.

2012 - Happy New Year to the World!

A new year, just around the corner,

Just like every other year,

People celebrate, reflect, rethink and start anew.

Whether the past year has been wonderful or harsh,

It's a time to be thankful,

To remind oneself:

I'm here, right here, right now.

Where do I go from now?

What do I do from here?

What is for certain, however,

Is that the years ahead will definitely be more fulfilling,

Much more joyous, blessed with pleasant surprises...

... as long as you believe and your faith stands strong.

Autumn Serenade

All around us,

We see leaves drying up and soon to fall...

Nature braces herself for the unforgiving winter,

As for the people that walk by everyday...

their clothes only get thicker and bulkier...

Those little things and even the subtle details,

Such as slipping into comfortable bedroom slippers at home,

Resting in the comfort of the wool comforter,

Taking a soothing warm shower,

Drinking a cup of hot chocolate...

... and feeling the warmth seep in and flow throughout the body.

Chilly wind and hot breath combined into steamy mist...

Cold hands and feet,

Faces with that soft, pink glow...

And it's still autumn...

winter has yet to come...

... We'll see when everything goes white.

The Sky.

The feeling begins to sink in,

Visions and dreams flash before curious eyes,

Beneath that calm, serene expression...

... lies countless thoughts and questions.

Looking up at that distance sky, at that vast space,

Wind blows ever so strongly, but perceived as a gentle, soothing breeze.

Wondering and wondering...

No matter where, however...

That vast sky that seemingly stares back at you

is the same wherever we are.

Be it here, or a million miles away,

we all look at that very same sky.

Having faith and believing,

Taking comfort in my joy,

The sky seems to change ever so slightly...

... but it is still that sky...

... that vast, beautiful sky.
